This lecture will highlight Atlanta's transition away from Yeek, and later conservation efforts made by Yeek elders. Focusing on the 2000s and 2010s, we will cover topics such as the dissolution of Atlanta Bass music infrastructure, the legacy of Yeek groups new and old, and attempts at documenting Yeek.
